Ombella J.S Profile

John Sebastian Ombella is currently the Associate Director of the Directorate of Quality Assurance at Mzumbe University.

Previously he headed the Department of Research and Public Outreach of the Quality Assurance Directorate at Mzumbe University for a period of three years from Jan. 2012 to Jan 2015. Mr. Ombella is also serving as the Postgraduate Programme Coordinator Faculty of Law of the Mzumbe University as from Jan 2012 to date. As a lecturer and Consultant, his main duty are conducting lectures to both undergraduate and Postgraduate classes, Conducting seminar classes and carrying out research and short courses. Mr. Ombella has been and still is lecturing and providing seminar in the following but not limited legal subjects; Investment, Corporate Law, Alternative Dispute Resolution Business Law, , Insurance, Partnership, Competition Law, International Trade. Mr. Ombella also supervises both Undergraduate and Postgraduate Research Candidates in the areas listed above. Apart from being a lecturer at Mzumbe University, Mr. Ombella also works with other academic institutions as part timer from time to time. Mr. Ombella is also an external Examiner of various Academic Institutions and Professional bodies
